The Organ Room at ESML has a parallelepiped shape but with some walls and ceiling slightly slanted. Its floor measures ca. 15.3 m x 6.0 m and the height, being large, is ca. 8.8 m.
The room has thus a volume of ca. 807.8 m3. The space has a wooden floor on joists, gypsum plastered masonry walls and ceiling, a large, double-glazed window together with a double-glazed window door and a large wooden covered organ.
Measurement points and source location
10 locations were chosen in a more or less scattered way inside the ESML Organ Room for the acoustic acquisitions, as portrayed in the following plan. The omnidirectional source was located near the organ, in a centred position of the room.
