The Lisbon Aqueduct Mãe d’Água Gallery begins at the Casa do Arco, passes through the triumphal arch das Amoreiras of Carlos Mardel and ends at the Lisbon Aqueduct Mãe d’Água Reservoir.
It has a length of approximately 300 m and a width of approximately 1.8 m with a ceiling height of approximately 2.5 m.
Main materials: mixed masonry, sprayed and painted plaster, limestone (lioz) stonework.
Measurement points and source location
Acoustic acquisitions and recordings were carried out at a location near the terminus of the Gallery in the Mãe d’Água Reservoir (Pos3). The sound source was placed in two positions along the Gallery, at distances of approximately 50 m (S3) and 100 m (S4) from the measurement location (Pos3).
