The main hall has a capacity for 725 seats and has an elliptical layout with five rows of Italian-style boxes. It measures approximately 23 m long by 22 m wide with a ceiling height of about 16 m. The stage, which is generously sized and parallelepiped in shape, measures about 22 m long by 30 m wide with a ceiling height of about 25 m. The total volume of the hall including the stage is about 17075 m3.
Main materials: mixed masonry, painted stucco, carvings, paintings, screens, mirrors, wood, etc. Wooden and flagged floor.
Measurement points and source location
The sound source was placed at the mouth of the stage after the orchestra pit. The acoustic acquisitions and recordings were carried out in sixteen locations in the Main Opera Hall, five in the audience, one in the royal tribune and ten distributed across the five orders of boxes.
